Wilma Sue Jones, RN, BSN, CNN, Sue has over 45 years of nursing experience. She is a graduate of Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing Detroit, Michigan 1977. Her nursing journey began as a staff nurse at Wayne County General Hospital, Wayne, Michigan 1977-1981, oncology nurse 1981 – 1983 East Tennessee Baptist Hospital, Knoxville, Tennessee. While working as an oncology nurse Sue earned her certification in critical care and relocated to Coatesville, Pennsylvania, Brandywine Hospital and Trauma Center. For four years Sue worked as a critical care nurse, that’s when her passion for nephrology nursing blossomed. 1987 Sue transferred to the Kidney Center of Chester County, Exton, Pa where she developed and implemented a peritoneal dialysis program and eventually became the Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Administrator. Sue earned her Certification in Nephrology Nursing 1989 and BSN, Eastern College, St. David, PA 1994. Other career highlights include working as a director of clinical services at the University of Pennsylvania Inpatient and Outpatient Hemodialysis center Philadelphia, PA and Penn Medicine at Radnor, Radnor, PA 1996-2005. Her goal was to promote nursing excellence and quality patient care in a business environment.
