Dr. Oral Waldo

Oral Waldo, MD, FACC, is known throughout Palm Beach and Broward counties and communities as a compassionate and empathetic board-certified cardiologist fellowship-trained in cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Waldo’s commitment to become an expert in cardiovascular diseases led him to complete his fellowship from the distinguished Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education (Mayo Clinic). Dr. Oral Waldo also completed an internal medicine residency from the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. He graduated medical school from the Howard University College of Medicine located in Washington D.C. Dr. Waldo was born in Jamaica and came to U.S. at age 18, and attended Florida Atlantic University where he completed his undergraduate studies. 

Dr. Waldo is currently a cardiologist at Cardiovascular Care – Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group with offices in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. He is on-staff at both Good Samaritan Medical Center and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. 

Dr. Waldo opened his cardiology practice in West Palm Beach and has since opened a second office in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. As a cardiologist, Dr. Waldo specializes in adult cardiology seeing patients 16-years and up. Dr. Waldo is certified in Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Cardiovascular Care – Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group and Tenet Healthcare hospitals, Dr. Waldo worked as a cardiologist at the Heart and Family Health Institute, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) located in Port St. Lucie and prior to then, an HCA facility in Margate, FL. Dr. Waldo has been practicing medicine since 2011. 

Dr. Waldo has a complete cardiology practice focusing on pre-evaluations with stress testing including echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiogram, electrocardiogram, management and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms including atrial fibrillation, Holter heart rhythm monitoring, heart attack treatment, high cholesterol management, hypertension, preventive medicine, congestive heart failure and valvular heart disease. In addition, Dr. Waldo has a special interest in the management and treatment of chest pain.
